Mexico Roundabout (RBT) – Hotel Deafrique Asphalt Road Project

Scope of the Project

Scope of the project includes construction of a total of 670m Asphalt road that stretches from Mexico Roundabout (RBT) towards Amistegna police station, via Deafrique hotel. The main works of the project encompasses excavations that include capping, Subbase, base course and Drainage pipe laying and construction of utility lines.

Client and Consultant

Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA) is the client while Core Consulting Engineers PLCis the consulting firm.

Contractors

IFH Engineering Plc.is the main contractor while ASER Construction Plc. is sub-contractor of the project.

Project Area

Lideta Sub City, Addis Ababa

Commencement Date

ASER Construction PLC has officially commenced the project work on October 8, 2016.

Work under Progress

As of October 24,2016, Soil excavation work has reached 65 percent while Drainage pipe laying and capping placing works has reached 18 and 25 percent respectively.

Machinery Mobilization

A total of around 34 Machinery’s and Equipment’s are deployed for the project.

Project Work Force

Currently a total of 41 workers are engaged on the project of which 10 employees are permanent and the rest 31 are temporary.
